FROM SEA TO SHINING SEA

sounding light’s 2013-14 season begins with an eclectic program of American music, at times toe-tapping and at times heart-wrenching. Beloved arrangements by Alice Parker and Moses Hogan, familiar favorites like “O Shenandoah” and “She’ll be Comin’ Round the Mountain,” and compelling original works from Aaron Copland to Stephen Paulus will offer a kaleidoscopic panorama of our nation’s history and heritage.
